Vermouth is our newest product for sale.  Made in Scotland: hand-harvested from the Pinot Noir and Meunier (red) and Chardonnay (green) grapes that grow in our Distillery Glasshouse.

Vermouth is an aperitif - typically at around 22% ABV. We make it from the left-over grape jus after we produce our ultra-premium Pinot Noir Gin a truly luxury gin that is ideal as a gin gift.

We had such a bountiful harvest in 2023 that we developed two new products from the grapes: a sweet Vermouth Rosso and a dry Vermouth Bianco. This aperitif is traditionally produced in Italy and according to Italian law, vermouth is a product made up of at least 75% wine, fortified and flavoured with an alcoholic infusion of herbs and spices which must include artemisia (mugwort), in the Pontica and Absinthium varieties, both of which grow in our Distillery Garden. Typically (Bottled) at around 22% ABV, we make the Vermouths from the left-over grape jus after we produce our ultra-premium Pinot Noir Gin, a truly luxury gin that is ideal as a gin gift.

We explain more about Vermouth, its history and how we make this refreshing aperitif in our blog Introducing our Scottish Vermouth here.

It really is hard to believe that we are able to make such a luxury unique Scottish spirit that is ideally suited for so many gin and vodka cocktails. Why don't you check out our Vermouth cocktail recipes here.

Or as a sipping spirit, as recommended by some of our customers:

'Just purchased a bottle of Vermouth, absolutely amazing. Five out of five stars. My initial reaction is the gorgeous aroma, which is very reminiscent of a very fine Cognac, making your taste buds want more. Highly recommend, as a great pre apertivo or after dinner tipple.'
