For years, we’ve dreamed of bringing our entire team together on one site. Until now, our Edinburgh gin distillery operations - production, bottling line, and admin staff - were split between the Garden just outside Edinburgh and our warehouse in Bilston Glen, Midlothian. When the warehouse lease came up for renewal, we decided to take the plunge and relocate everyone back to the Garden.
A Sustainable Step Forward
Consolidating operations onto a single site is another major step toward sustainable gin production. By reducing travel between locations, cutting emissions, and streamlining production, we’re lowering our carbon footprint while enhancing efficiency. Being fully Edinburgh-based allows us to operate responsibly, stay close to our local community, and continue producing premium sustainable craft gin with care for the environment.
Embracing the Temporary Chaos
Right now, things are a little messy with parts of the team working out of containers at the Garden but this short-term challenge supports long-term sustainability. The savings from moving out of the warehouse are being reinvested into the business, helping us strengthen operations, support our team, and plan for a greener future.
