☀️ Summer in Full Bloom: Tours Are Back at the Secret Garden Distillery

We’re delighted to announce that, from Friday 21st August, our Friday and Saturday tours are officially back - just in time to enjoy the beauty and flavour of late summer.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Pentland Hills, our Distillery and Garden are at their most vibrant right now, with botanicals in full bloom and the glasshouse brimming with plants. It’s the perfect season to step behind the scenes and discover how we transform nature into award-winning gins.

We have two tours on offer:

🌿 The Discovery Experience

The Discovery Experience is a journey through the heart of the Secret Garden Distillery. You’ll:

• Wander through our botanic garden and glasshouse, where many of our botanicals are grown
• See what has been hand-harvested this week and is drying in our drying rooms
• Learn how our sustainable distilling process turns nature into spirit
• Enjoy a guided tasting of our most loved seasonal gins, including the award-winning Summer Gin and the magical, colour-changing Elderflower & Jasmine Gin
• See first-hand the care, craft, and passion that goes into every drop

Perfect for gin lovers and garden enthusiasts alike, this experience offers a true taste of summer in every sense.

✨ The Alchemy Experience

For those who want to go a step further, the Alchemy Experience is your chance to become a gin maker for the day. In this hands-on session, you’ll:

• Explore the art and science behind distilling

• Select from a range of botanicals some hand-harvested from our garden that have been distilled into aromatic waters that are added to our base gin to create your very own recipe

• Distil and bottle your personalised gin to take home - a truly unique keepsake of your visit

It’s the perfect blend of creativity and craftsmanship, and an unforgettable way to connect with the spirit of the Secret Garden.
