We have many recipes for Negronis - a popular easy gin cocktail to make at home. However Secret Garden Distillery now produces two key ingredients for a Negroni: the luxury Pinot Noir Gin and the new Vermouth Rosso - a sweet vermouth also made from the Pinot Noir grapes grown in our Edinburgh Distillery Glasshouse and mugwort hand-harvested from the Garden.
Ingredients:
Once you've got your ingredients;
- Stir over ice, strain
- Rocks Glass, Large ice cube
- Garnish: Orange peel
Here at Secret Garden Distillery, we are fond of Negroni's but made with our Pinot Noir Gin it has always been truly something special. In fact - we thought "why not make two of the ingredients for a negroni to take it to the next level". Thus the Vermouth Rosso was born.
A Negroni is a sweet and slightly bitter-tasting drink that’s reminiscent of an aperitif but packs a huge punch. It’s perfect as a cocktail pre- or during dinner, as the bitter notes highlight the flavours of food very well.
